Ingredients:
  • 2 Lean beef, lamb or pork grilling/frying steaks
  • 50g (2oz) Goats cheese or soft cream cheese
  • Flavour variations for ‘dollop’
  • 5mlsp (1tsp) Fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 Lime, grated zest
  • Or
  • 5mlsp (1tsp) Black peppercorns, crushed
  • Or
  • ½ Fresh chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  • 15mlsp (1tbsp) Fresh basil, chopped
Method:
Pre-heat the BBQ or grill and cook the steaks according to the table below.

Meanwhile prepare the ‘dollop’ by mixing the cream cheese with any of the flavour variations. Place a spoonful of the creamy dollop on to each cooked steak and allow to ooze and melt over the steak (make sure the steak is really hot)
